American Cancer Society special class March 29, 2008
Contra-Mestre Caxias is hosting a Special Class for the American Cancer Society and HBCUs.
this is the second year we have participated in this event. Here is the schedule:
9:45- Current Capoeira students meet at the Durham Marriott Civic Center lobby, 201 Foster St - Downtown Durham, NC
10-12- Class @ Meeting Room 105, Marriott
This class will be attended by students of Historically Black Colleges and Universities and the event is organized by the American Cancer Society.
As part of the event of the American Cancer Society and HBCUs, we are also invited to attend the Afroflow performance at the Carolina Theater. Check their website:

Mestre Cabeca Workshops

Contra-Mestre Caxias is organizing the first Special Workshop of 2008 in NC.
Mestre Cabeca from Aracaju will be with us for a week this month.
If you still don't know who Mestre Cabeca is, it will be a great opportunity to find out.
He has been supporting this group from the very beginning and we are really glad to have him here.
